That's where Monster 3X comes to the fisherman's rescue. These shrimp are a fisherman's dream, they are the most durable soft plastic I have ever used, they have outstanding action due to the X-Move tail design and the price is right!

Let's look at the first point, durability. We have caught over 50 fish on a single Monster 3X Shrimp, and it would have been more if it weren't for a bluefish taking it home with him! Of those 50 fish there was a mix of snook, trout, redfish, jacks, ladyfish, black drum, and bluefish all on a SINGLE soft shrimp! Next is the price, a 3 pack of the Monster 3X X-Move Shrimp in the 3 1/2" version will cost you $6.59, the 4 3/4" version comes in a 2 pack for $6.69.
One point worth noting is the type of jig head you should use. We rigged ours originally on the Scorpion Jig or Poison Tail Jig, it was extremely difficult to get the shrimp over the collar on the jig. The guys at Monster 3X recommend using a jig with no collar, and with that the Bullhead Jig from T&A Jigs was born! It utilizes the same Mustad wide gap hook of the Poison Tail Jig, but it has no collar so the Monster 3X baits slide on easily and stay in place very well.

Not in to soft shrimp? No problem, Monster 3X has incorporated the X-Move technology in to their line of jerkbaits, the X-Swim (available in two sizes) and if you like the shad tail style baits, they offer the Slimshad in two different sizes as well! I can guarantee you will never look at soft plastics the same way again after giving the Monster 3x line of baits a try.
