Pliers...the Struggle is Real
If you fish you know how invaluable a great pair of pliers can be. You probably also know how difficult it is to find a pair that will hold up to the extremely harsh saltwater. We have used numerous different pliers and I believe we have finally found not only a great, lightweight pair of pliers that will stand up to saltwater use, but also one that at a price of $25.99 will not break your budget!
Lew's Aluminum Pliers are made up of aircraft quality aluminum handles with stainless steel lined jaws, tempered to 46+ degrees. All of this results in a strong, yet very lightweight pair of pliers. The 6.5" plier has a soft nylon sheath with a stainless steel belt clip and coiled lanyard. The cutters in the back of the jaw are great with cutting mono, fluorocarbon and so far even cut braid quite well. I especially like the clip on the back of the sheath, it allows you to hook it right on your pocket (where I prefer it) or on your belt. They are so lightweight, you don't even feel them on your side.
If you're in the market for some new pliers, I highly suggest picking up a pair, you will not be disappointed!
P.S. - Giving your pliers a rinse under warm water after each trip will keep them looking and performing like new for a very long time!

New Products Coming to TCT
We attended our first year at ICAST, also known as the world's largest sportfishing trade show that is held annually. We attended as a buyer in hopes of finding some great new products to add to Treasure Coast Tackle and to interact with other people in the industry that will help us continue growing. We were successful in our hopes and expectations and are looking forward to attending ICAST next year as well. Over the next week, we will be adding five new products and we have contacts and information to add even more new products in the near future.
